Job Summary

Are you ready to take on a leadership role with a strong focus on business development and driving growth? Join TÜV Rheinland as a Branch Manager in Bratislava, where you will lead our operations, engage with clients across Slovakia, and drive business success in the certification services industry. As part of this role, you will oversee a team of 5 experienced professionals, guiding them to achieve outstanding results while fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Responsibilities

Business Development and Client Engagement:

• Drive business growth and expand market presence by identifying and securing new opportunities,
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to expand services,
• Maintain strong relationships with clients across Slovakia to understand their needs, propose solutions, and foster long-term partnerships.

Team Leadership:

• Oversee and support the office team, ensuring collaboration and motivation,
• Provide regular feedback to help team members achieve individual and team objectives.

Operations Management:

• Oversee office performance, including budgets, profitability (P&L), facilities, and resource planning, ensuring efficient operations,
• Supervise certification and audit processes to meet organizational and client requirements,
• Coordinate with subcontractors, legal partners, and service providers to support seamless daily operations.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

Requirements

Must-have:​

• 5+ years of experience in business development and client relationship management,
• 3+ years of leadership experience,
• Fluency in Slovak and English,
• Driver’s license (cat. B) and access to a personal vehicle,
• Willingness to work on-site in Bratislava and travel strategically across Slovakia, with a few Budapest visits.

Nice-to-have:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent,
• Experience with certifications, audits and welding processes,
• Knowledge of Hungarian and/or German,
• Established network within Slovak industries.
