Customer Operations Specialist

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
This is an entry-level (junior) operations role within the merchant acquiring and Point of Sale (POS) sector. The position focuses heavily on process execution, internal coordination, and service monitoring rather than deep technical expertise. Candidates who demonstrate high reliability, strong organization, and eager communication will be the top contenders.

Responsibilities and duties:
• Support the day-to-day operations of merchant acquiring and POS services across Central Europe, including direct merchant acquiring and fully outsourced POS services.
• Work with Product, Sales and other internal teams to improve existing services and support new business.
• Provide first- and second-level support to internal and external customers, helping resolve operational issues and escalating more complex cases to the right teams.
• Monitor service performance, investigate irregularities and help ensure services meet agreed specifications and service levels.
• Support customer onboarding, service trials and launches, coordinating the setup and activities needed to move services into production.
• Coordinate the procurement, preparation and management of equipment and materials needed to deliver services.
• Maintain service databases and help prepare operational documentation, reports and statistics.
• Investigate operational issues, respond to requests for information and provide input for service billing.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
• This is a junior role. Previous experience in customer operations, payments or POS support is welcome, but not required.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• A logical, hands-on approach to problem-solving and willingness to ask questions when needed.
• Reliable and organized, with the ability to follow processes carefully and manage day-to-day tasks.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and keen to learn new systems and tools.
• Enjoys working with different teams and communicating clearly with colleagues.
• Knowledge of another Central European language is an advantage.
• Curious and motivated to learn about merchant acquiring, payment services and POS operations.
