O pozícii

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
Quad Industries is looking for an ambitious Purchaser who will be responsible for the daily purchasing of all goods and services and managing related logistics. The function is a good mix between management of the purchasing and internal logistics tasks (with other team members), selection and evaluation of new and current suppliers and executing operational purchasing tasks. You will be working together with different departments (Stock, Engineering, Sales, R&D) within the organization, both in Slovakia & Belgium.

Specific tasks are:
• Creating purchase orders and following up purchase orders to ensure quality material is delivered on time
• Sending Purchase order to suppliers along with Terms and Conditions
• Receiving supplier acknowledgements and ensuring the PO (Purchase Order) due dates are accurately maintained in the system
• Perform follow-up on missing Order Acknowledgement dates
• Manage Past due PO’s by extracting weekly Past due report, identify the Past Due POs and contact the vendors by e-mail/phone to request the order to be delivered and educate suppliers to respect the need by date
• Manage Purchase Order due dates, as needed, to prevent production disruptions, delays, downtime and excess inventory
• Resolve Supplier delivery problems (late and early receipts) in an assertive and timely manner and escalate for assistance as required
• Select and manage required suppliers who have the capacity and capability to meet the material and subcontract needs of the business
• Establish and manage key supplier performance goals and objectives consistent with the business strategy and ensuring continuous material supply

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
• Bachelor’s degree, with proven knowledge/experience of/with business administration or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, with proven technical knowledge,
• 3 – 5 years of experience in Purchasing
• English fluent speaking and writing,
• Ability to work in a cross functional, team-oriented environment,
• Good oral and written communication skills,
• Good organizational skills with an ability to prioritize,
• Competent appearance, negotiation skills and assertiveness,
• Ability to build teamwork to accomplish business objectives,
• Rapid problem-solving skills,
