FMEA Engineer

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

The FMEA ENGINEER  is responsible for supporting and coordinating all activities related to the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis process, ensuring that product and process designs meet high-quality and reliability standards. The role includes close collaboration with engineering, quality, production, and project management teams to identify potential risks, evaluate failure modes, and support implementation of preventive actions.​

1. FMEA Execution: Conduct and support Design and Process FMEA sessions with cross-functional teams to identify and assess potential failure modes and their impact on quality, safety, and performance.

2. Risk Evaluation: Analyze severity, occurrence, and detection ratings to define the Risk Priority Number (RPN) and propose actions to reduce high-risk items.

3. Documentation: Maintain and update FMEA documentation throughout the project and product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with current design and process status.

4. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of FMEA standards, templates, and best practices, promoting process consistency and effectiveness.

5. Support Activities: Assist in training and guiding team members in the correct application of FMEA methodology and tools.

6. Compliance: Ensure FMEA process is in accordance with customer-specific requirements and automotive standards (IATF 16949, VDA AIAG FMEA).
