Your expertise in analyzing and interpreting financial data is crucial to our success. Collaborating closely with other controllers and diverse departments such as Accounting, Actuarial, Compliance, Products, and Sales, you will ensure seamless operations of controlling and planning processes, contributing significantly to the achievement of our company's ambitious objectives.

What are the main tasks of this role?

• Financial Reporting and KPIs: Lead the reporting of financial and key performance indicators for the YOUPLUS Branch in CZ and SK. Provide local and group management with essential information for informed decision-making. Actively contribute to the enhancement of all financial information related to closing and planning, adhering to local GAAP, IFRS, and internal guidelines.
• Financial Planning and Analysis: Manage comprehensive financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes, including forecasting, annual and multi-year planning, business modeling, monthly closing, variance analysis, and contribution reporting for the CZ/SK branch.
• Regulatory Reporting: Oversee regulatory reporting for the CZ/SK branch, effectively bridging the needs of internal stakeholders such as Accounting, Compliance, and HR with legal requirements.
• Ad Hoc Analysis and Project Support: Provide insightful ad hoc analysis and support strategic projects, including Data Warehouse initiatives and the development of the Enterprise Performance Management system.

What should the ideal candidate have?

• University degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting, Finance, Controlling or similar
• Proven Finance track record in the - ideally – insurance or financial services industry (min. 5 years)
• Deep expertise as an external auditor/audit manager is a must
• Proven track record in setting up and improving financial reporting and planning processes
• High Quality awareness and stakeholder orientation
• Highly energetic, dedicated learner, which loves to have fun at his job
