O pozícii

We’re looking for a skilled and forward-thinking Head of Infrastructure Services to lead our distributed team based in Prague and Brno. You’ll be driving the strategic and day-to-day direction of our Infrastructure Services department, ensuring smooth operations, technical excellence, and high-impact delivery for key clients. From shaping service strategy and mentoring your team, to building strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with industry standards, this is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of leadership, technology, and customer success. The role requires regular presence in both locations – ideally splitting your time between Prague and Brno during the week.

If you bring a strong background in IT infrastructure, solid experience with cybersecurity and networking, and fluency in Czech, we’d love to hear from you!

  • Negotiating and finalizing contracts with new and existing customers
  • Leading project delivery using internal tools (Quartz in Codex)
  • Monitoring key account performance and customer satisfaction
  • Resolving issues, mitigating risks, and handling escalations
  • Analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Representing the company in a professional and positive way
  • Reporting to Axians Business Unit General Manager


Key Requirements:

  • Practical experience in IT infrastructure and support services, with understanding of networking and cybersecurity principles
  • Proven ability to plan, implement, and oversee infrastructure-related tasks and projects
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both with clients and internal teams
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across different roles and levels
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Flexibility to adapt to change and learn on the go
  • Experience and leadership skills to guide, motivate, and support the team
  • Good time management and ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Fluent Czech and professional-level English (C1)
  • Willingness to travel regularly between Brno and Prague (2–3 days per week in each location)


Advantages:

  • Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar
  • Hands-on experience from a smaller company (up to ~150 employees), where you covered a wide range of tasks – from IT operations, ordering, invoicing, and reporting, to communication with demanding managers and customers
  • Later exposure to a corporate environment – ideally someone who knows the structure and processes, but is looking for a more flexible, impactful role again
