Market Analyst, Trading (junior/senior)

What will you do?

• Your task will be to become an expert in specific power/gas market with ability to form opinions about the future direction of the market.
• You will monitor and analyze the latest developments, conduct in-depth examination of supply/demand factors, develop models and tools.
• Discovery, collection and processing of data will be an integral part of your work.
• You will share your findings and advice through presentations, reports and person-to-person discussions with traders and analysts.
• Your outputs will have a direct impact on business decisions of the department.

Skills you need to have:

• University education with the focus on mathematics or with the technical focus
• Knowledge of mathematical modeling and data analysis
• Knowledge of technical computing tools: Python, Matlab, R-project, etc.
• Experience with energy sectors and/or Trading advantageous
• Advanced command of English (daily communication with international colleagues)
• Creative and problem-solving mindset
• Desire to learn, research and discover
