A Prague-based investment group focused on private equity investments is searching for a qualified Group Head of Controlling

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, planning and maintaining its fiscal stability, and structuring and funding new acquisitions. The candidate will collaborate with the management to implement long-range goals, strategies and policies. S/he will become part of the growing Qualified Investors Fund focused on agriculture, energy and alternative investments, working closely with international providers and businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management
Manage the company's financial operations including budgeting, forecasting and auditing.
Structuring
Execute cross-border acquisition financing considering all tax implications.
Financial Reporting
Oversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial statements. Ensure the timely reporting of key financial data and updates to the management and the SICAV administrator.
Compliance
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding the SICAV regulatory requirements and all financial aspects. This includes tax planning and compliance with all aspects of tax regulations.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in Big 5 or other relevant positions
Excellent knowledge of data analysis, risk management and forecasting methods
Master’s degree in economics, accounting, finance or related field
Professional accreditation (e.g. CPA, CFA) considered an advantage
Proficient in MS Office and financial management software
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong ethical standards and high level of integrity
