Job Description:

Aliaxis Czechia is seeking to recruit a Technical Sales Representative / Area Sales Engineer who will be responsible for the implementation of the company's strategy as well as for Infrastructure segment long-term relationships with the target applications: Water & Gas distribution. We are looking for a positively minded individual with both commercial and technical skills who will appreciate the opportunity to work for a company with the highest market share in its product segment.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of the assigned region (Bohemia), including comprehensive care for existing customers such as designers, architects, investors, construction companies, utility network operators, and distributors
  • Product and sales consulting and active support for business partners.
  • Product and solution presentations to customers and increasing brand awareness (client seminars)
  • Collaboration with management on business strategy and demand planning
  • Reporting sales results and market insights
  • Training or organizing trainings sessions for distributors, technical companies & installers to create demand.
  • Monitoring competitor’s activity, collecting and updating information about prices & products.
  • Planning in details weekly activity, making weekly reports of activity, making monthly report & identifying opportunities and threats of sales in his/her region (CRM activities)

Job Requirements

  • Experience in a technical sales position
  • Familiarity with Technical Sales, Project sales in similar domain (building construction materials, preferably fittings and piping solutions),
  • preferably technical education background (or basic expertise in the area) to be able to work with civil engineers / architects from the client side (specifications, RFQ, orders)
  • be located close to Vestec / Prague (50 - 150 km) and be able to travel across Bohemia 20% of time (car is provided, driving license required)

Qualifications:

  • Technical education, Bachelor's (or higher) degree in engineering construction is a plus
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as Sales Engineer preferably in Infrastructure - Utility sector / or in a similar industry (fittings, water / gas piping solutions / drainage solutions for infrastructure, utility)
  • fluent Czech language, intermediate or communicative English (spoken, written, it is a must)
  • Driving license
