O pozícii

The Tax Manager supports in managing all direct and indirect tax matters across operations in AVL globally within the automotive and manufacturing sectors. This includes ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations, assisting with tax planning strategies, managing audits, and advising on tax matters relevant to industrial and R&D activities. The role collaborates closely with finance, legal, operations, and external advisors to optimize tax efficiency while maintaining full compliance.

We are looking for a colleague with excellent English (German is an advantage) and good knowledge of accounting principles and taxation to join our Group Tax team. If you are a diligent person with a penchant for systematic work that you can organize yourself, you are exactly the person we are looking for. :)

WITHIN YOUR ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Support in updating and further developing of Group-wide tax software and its modules
  • Assist with the preparation of current and deferred tax calculations (IFRS) on the semi-annual and annual basis together with the Controlling department
  • Assist with the preparation of the group-wide CbCR
  • Collaborate on the development of the Group’s internal Pillar 2 process
  • Support in group-wide Pillar 2 calculation
  • Assist Group entities with the competition of Tax Questionnaire module
  • Assist with the preparation of tax filings (e.g. tax returns, tax notifications, etc.)
  • Support Group entities in tax issues (e.g. VAT, CIT, WHT)
  • Collaboration on development of Tax check process
  • Assist with domestic and foreign tax audits

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL WHO HAS:

  • Degree in business administration, law or equivalent
  • Completed tax/accounting consultant exam (advantage)
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience (internationally oriented tax consulting firm, finance administration or Group Tax department)
  • Good tax-relevant knowledge of accounting (IAS 12)
  • Strong affinity for IT

THE ADVANTAGE IS:

  • Completed tax/accounting consultant exam
  • SAP knowledge and good knowledge of Excel
  • Good written and spoken German
