Technical Support & Product Development Role for FINEO

AGC is looking for a multifaceted technical role focused on supporting FINEO glazing solutions. Key responsibilities include providing technical support to clients and partners, co-developing digital simulation tools, collaborating on innovative product prototypes, and assisting with product management and certification. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in mechanics and materials with excellent communication skills in English, and has experience in the construction or glazing industry. The position emphasizes innovation, client orientation, and the ability to manage complex projects in a B2B technical environment.

Main Responsibilities

- Respond to incoming technical queries related to FINEO (performance, implementation, product configurations) in collaboration with the Technical Advisory Service (TAS).

- Support sales teams and partners (distributors, processors, carpenters, system providers) in understanding technical requirements (thermal insulation, acoustics, safety, etc.).

- Draft detailed responses to technical specifications and tenders.

-Co-lead the development of a digital interface for glass thickness simulation and calculation for clients.Oversee project management for these tools: requirements definition, coordination with IT/developers, functional validation.

- Collaborate with external partners to design innovative glazing solutions incorporating FINEO.

- Conduct technical feasibility studies and participate in testing or prototyping (mechanical, thermal tests, etc.).

- Assist the Product Manager with certification processes (CE, EPD, acoustic and safety labeling, etc.).

- Contribute to structuring the product roadmap: technology watch, product evolution, anticipating client needs.

- Participate in competitive intelligence: competitor product analysis, technical benchmarking.

Required Skills & Profile

- Strong knowledge in solid mechanics, heat transfer, acoustics, and materials.

- Proficiency with simulation tools (e.g., Therm, Trisco, FEM, thermal/acoustic performance software).
Ability to read, interpret, and draft complex technical documents in both English and French.
Customer-oriented, comfortable in technical meetings or co-development settings.

- Entrepreneurial mindset, solution-oriented, rigorous, and autonomous.
Pedagogical and concise, able to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.

- French & English required (minimum B2 level). German, Dutch, or Italian are advantageous but not mandatory.

- Engineering degree (Master’s level) in construction, civil engineering, mechanics, energy, or materials.

2 to 5 years’ experience in a technical B2B environment, ideally in building, glazing, carpentry, or construction materials sectors.
