O pozícii
We are searching for a Commodity Buyer in the area of Logistics of the Procurement Team Europe.
The Logistics Team is responsible for the procurement of land transports in Europe, packaging and logistic services and cooperates closely with our internal stakeholders and our external partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES
* procurement of land transports based on the requirements of the divisions
* procurement of logistics services like warehouses, in-plant services, re-packaging
* managing tenders and contract negotiations
* supplier management and development
* creation and realization of cost reduction ideas
* managing of daily problems and issues
* nalysis of markets and identification of optimization opportunities
* collaboration with internal stakeholders and the cross-European procurement team
REQUIREMENTS
* university degree in economics or related field
* several years of professional experience in procurement or logistics
* ideally experience in procuring logistics services and knowledge of logistics market
* independent and structured working style
* strong cost and quality awareness
* solution-oriented hands-on mentality
* high level of commitment and initiative
* fluent in English (spoken and written), ideally also in German
* strong communication skills and openness to teamwork
