Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone motivated who wants to build a career in compliance and risk in the fintech sector. The role can also be suitable for a junior candidate or a recent law graduate who is eager to learn and grow. English communication is important, as part of our team, including colleagues and a lawyer, is based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

We appreciate people who are proactive, reliable, and able to handle a higher workload when needed. As a smaller company, some of our processes are still being set up, so things are not always as structured as in large corporations. We are therefore looking for someone who is willing to take initiative, figure things out, and grow together with the company.

What you will be doing

• Supporting the Compliance and Risk Officer in developing and implementing risk management and compliance strategies aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements
• Assisting with comprehensive risk assessments, identifying potential risks, and proposing mitigation measures
• Overseeing compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards through maintaining and enforcing internal policies and procedures
• Providing day-to-day support and guidance on compliance and risk-related matters
• Preparing reports for management on risk and compliance topics, including identified risks and mitigation effectiveness
• Monitoring regulatory changes and working closely with the Compliance and Risk Officer to reflect them in company practices
• Coordinating and delivering internal training sessions on compliance and risk management
• Conducting compliance reviews and audits, identifying gaps, and working with relevant teams on corrective actions
• Handling other responsibilities defined in the company’s internal policies and procedures

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Law
• Minimum 3 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or regulatory/legal affairs
• Ideally experience from financial services, fintech, or another regulated environment
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and compliance regulations
• Hands-on experience with risk assessments, compliance audits, and internal control evaluations
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, strategic way of thinking
• Practical experience with compliance and risk management tools
• Clear communication skills and the confidence to work with different stakeholders
• High ethical standards and personal integrity
• Languages: English - fluent, Czech/Slovak - advanced, Lithuanian - nice to have

Onboarding & Team

You will be onboarded by an experienced Compliance and Risk Officer with many years of hands-on experience. He is easy to work with, supportive, and always willing to explain things clearly and help you settle into the role.
