What will you be responsible for?

Make an impact in our international supply chain team by ensuring that our customers receive the right products on time, at the best possible cost and quality.

In this dynamic position, you will combine operational, strategic and project purchasing responsibilities while contributing to product development and overall business success. As a Purchaser, you will work closely with Quality, Logistics, Production, Product Management and R&D. Through effective sourcing and strong supplier partnerships, you will help shape a resilient, competitive and high-performing supply chain.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out all activities within the operational Procure-to-Pay process
• Conducting targeted price and contract negotiations with suppliers
• Driving continuous cost optimisation
• Requesting quotations and performing price comparisons based on total cost of ownership (TCO)
• Implementing cost-saving targets and monitoring supplier performance and quality metrics
• Preparing sourcing decisions
• Participating in end-to-end process optimisation within the Procure-to-Pay process
• Managing escalations and supply bottlenecks in the event of delivery delays
• Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks
• Maintaining master data and supporting the change management process
• Assisting with supplier complaints
• Participating in interdisciplinary projects and procuring the required components
• Ensuring suppliers’ compliance with RoHS, REACH and Conflict Minerals regulations
• Ensuring ethical and sustainable procurement in accordance with current legal requirements, embargoes and sanctions
• Performing other tasks relevant to the position

What do we expect from you?

• A commercial education supplemented by further training in procurement
• Several years of professional purchasing experience within the manufacturing industry, preferably in mechanical and electronics manufacturing
• Fluency in Czech and English; German is an advantage
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and ERP systems; experience with Infor LN is preferred
• A high degree of independence, responsibility and reliability
• The ability to work effectively under pressure
• Strong negotiation skills
• A strategic mindset
• Experience in project purchasing
• Familiarity with working in a global matrix organisation
