Warehouse Site Operations and Safety Coordinator

About Us

We are an international company operating in the logistics and trade sector. We are looking for a responsible and practical colleague to support the day-to-day operation, safety and organization of our warehouse site located in Pavlov.

This position is suitable for someone who enjoys working independently, communicating with different parties and solving practical on-site issues.

Main Responsibilities

* Carry out routine safety inspections and patrols of the warehouse, yard and common operational areas, including visual checks of fire-safety equipment, CCTV systems, lighting, heating and other facilities.

* Identify, record and report safety hazards, equipment defects, maintenance needs, incidents and near misses.

* Coordinate safety, maintenance and operational matters with property management, external safety specialists, contractors and other service providers.

* Follow up on repairs and corrective actions, verify their completion and maintain relevant inspection, incident and maintenance records.

* Communicate site safety rules to tenants, contractors, drivers and other warehouse users, follow up on non-compliance and escalate serious or unresolved issues to management.

* Coordinate safety-related documentation, including relevant confirmations and documents signed by tenants.

* Coordinate parking, vehicle movement, loading areas and the proper use of common operational areas with property management and tenants.

* Conduct property condition inspections during the handover and return of warehouse premises, document any defects or damage, and coordinate the signing of handover protocols with the relevant parties.

* Assist with urgent site issues and other reasonable operational tasks assigned by the line manager.

Key Requirements

* Responsible, reliable and able to work independently.

* Good communication and coordination skills.

* Practical and proactive approach to solving day-to-day operational issues.

* Ability to communicate confidently with tenants, contractors, drivers, property management and colleagues.

* Good command of Czech.

* Basic working knowledge of English.

* Chinese is an advantage but not required.

* Basic computer skills, including email and MS Office.

* Willingness to learn warehouse safety procedures and attend relevant training.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in any of the following areas would be an advantage, but is not essential:

* Warehouse or logistics operations;

* Site or facility management;

* Production-site operations;

* Freight-yard or transport operations;

* Property maintenance;

* Workplace safety coordination;

* Security or other practical on-site operational roles.

Relevant training and practical support will be provided.
