Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
We are looking for a versatile and motivated Application & AWS Support Specialistwith a strong interest in both application support and cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the stability and performance of AWS-hosted environments and critical business applications.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, application owners, and third-party vendors to ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of the supported systems. This includes supporting day-to-day operations, managing changes, and responding to incidents across cloud and application layers.

Provide operational support for AWS-hosted environments (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)
Execute validated procedures for patching, upgrades, backups, and system maintenance
Perform basic database maintenance tasks (e.g. version updates, backup validation, resource utilization)
Collaborate on system migrations and infrastructure-related changes across environments
Provide 2nd level support for business applications and AWS-based infrastructure
Manage incidents, service requests, and changes in compliance with ITIL and internal quality processes
Collaborate with application owners, vendors, and internal teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
Maintain and update system documentation, technical guides, and user instructions
Support user access management and license tracking across multiple systems
Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and knowledge sharing

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
Must Have:
1–3 years of experience in IT operations, cloud infrastructure, and/or application support
Working knowledge of AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch)
Experience with Linux or Windows server environments and basic scripting (e.g. Bash, PowerShell, or Python)
Familiarity with relational databases and basic MSSQL (e.g. for version checks, logs, or troubleshooting)
Understanding of ITSM processes, ITIL certification is a plus
Comfortable working with documentation and procedures in a regulated or structured environment
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Nice to Have:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
AWS Cloud Practitioner or Associate-level certification
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow)
Understanding of GxP principles or experience working in regulated industries (e.g. pharma, life sciences)
Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement
Exposure to audit trails, log review processes, or system documentation best practices
Ability to support users across time zones in a remote/hybrid environment
