Social Media Specialist

We’re searching for a talented individual to join our team who is passionate about marketing and can bring fresh ideas to the table. To support our growth, we are looking for a creative Social Media Specialist to elevate our communication to the next level. The role may be based in Košice or Liptovský Mikuláš.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement the social media strategy for Vissim on both local and global markets.
• Manage company social media profiles (primarily LinkedIn, occasionally other platforms).
• Create content – copy, visuals, short videos, and graphics.
• Translate technical topics into clear, professional, and engaging content.
• Collaborate with the product team, mentor, and subject-matter experts in Norway and Slovakia.
• Build a consistent brand tone and strengthen its international visibility.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of published content and propose improvements.
• Contribute to the creation of the content calendar, campaigns, and event communication.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience managing corporate social media accounts (ideally B2B).
• Strong copywriting skills in English (C1).
• Creativity, originality, and a strong visual sense.
• Experience with tools such as Canva, Figma, Adobe, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of photography and video editing is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, proactively, and reliably.
• Interest in technology, innovation, or the energy/industrial sector is a strong plus.
