About the Role
We develop cloud-native (Azure-based) SaaS/PaaS solutions for global Life & Health insurance clients. Our international team delivers highly available, multi-regional products using modern technologies and innovative approaches.

Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and build cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, while operations are handled by separate teams. You will work with Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Helm, and PowerShell, applying modern DevOps best practices. In this role, you will mentor other DevOps engineers and collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager, Product Owner, and development teams.

• Design and automate cloud infrastructure deployment, including networking, compute, storage, security, monitoring, and identity.
• Embed applications into secure, high-performance, enterprise-grade cloud environments.
  Implement automated deployments, disaster recovery solutions, and operational documentation.
• Optimize infrastructure performance and cloud costs.
• Ensure compliance, resilience, and security of cloud environments.
• Provide technical leadership and collaborate with architects and stakeholders to deliver roadmap-aligned solutions.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

Requirements:

• Usage and administrator of Azure services. 
• Strong experience with PowerShell/Bash scripting. 
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization. 
• Strong skills with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning. 
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and release management. 
  Experience managing teams of DevOps engineers. 
  

Nice to have:

• Programming background in any OOP language (preferred Java and/or Go).
• Knowledge of security scans, authorization protocols, CloudFlare.
• Understanding of data fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Okta for identity and access management. 
• Knowledge of Cloudflare for web performance and security. 
• General knowledge of Gitlab and/or Github DevOps practices​​
