SAP IT Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced SAP IT Project Manager to join a global SAP transformation program. The successful candidate will lead SAP S/4HANA implementation projects and ensure delivery within scope, budget, timeline, and quality objectives while maintaining high stakeholder satisfaction.

This role requires strong experience with SAP Activate Methodology, SAP Cloud ALM, and SAP S/4HANA implementations, particularly within SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP PM, and AR/AP areas.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Project Delivery

• Lead SAP S/4HANA implementation projects across the organization
• Apply SAP Activate Methodology, including Fit-to-Standard workshops, agile sprint planning, and phased deployment approaches
• Utilize SAP Cloud ALM for project tracking, testing, and deployment activities
• Coordinate functional and technical teams delivering SAP MM, SD, PM, and related solutions
• Collaborate with SAP consultants, business stakeholders, and external vendors
• Manage data migration, cutover planning, go-live activities, and hypercare support
• Ensure successful integration of SAP solutions with business processes and other enterprise systems

Project Management

• Promote and enforce client PMO methodologies, governance, and delivery standards
• Define project scope, milestones, budgets, resource plans, and success criteria
• Develop project estimates and manage end-to-end project execution
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reporting
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans
• Coordinate communication between project teams and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements and information security policies

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead cross-functional and international project teams
• Coordinate internal resources, contractors, consultants, and offshore teams
• Provide guidance and support on project governance and delivery best practices
• Build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders
• Contribute to SAP portfolio planning and continuous process improvement initiatives
