Senior Process Engineer / Designer

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

​• Performing design changes to parts or equipment as requested by program managers, process and quality engineers, and customer engineering personnel.

• Supporting continuous improvement of processes by providing technical CAD design support to make modifications to tools and equipment as required by staff.

• Participating in the design development process of the manufacturing space with process engineers. Creating new layouts as necessary.

• Overall design corresponding to the customer product line.

• Coordinating and maintaining the physical arrangement of equipment, materials, and storage.

• Establishing production cycle times for manufacturing resources.

• Identifying sources of bottlenecks and capacity issues, coordinating the implementation of proposals to increase throughput.

• Establishing and assessing ergonomic conditions.

• Conducts standardized work studies.

• Performs error proofing, coordinates efforts in problem-solving.

• Sets, evaluates, and coordinates the elimination of safety risks.

• Develops work instructions.

• Updates the equipment list, assigns and updates equipment numbering.

• Creates a list of tools.

• Fills out the supplier tool confirmation form.

• Manages GP-9 Run @Rates.

• Is a key member of the machine validation team, a key member of the APQP team.​

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

A. EDUCATION

University degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering; or at a minimum college diploma as an Engineering Technologist

B. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Preparation of new drawings and changes in existing drawings.

• Verification of mathematical data and issuing prints to engineering files for use by program managers.

• Continuous implementation of improvement processes for assigned projects in production.

​• Experience as a computer designer, with preferred but not mandatory experience in programs - Solid Edge, Unigraphics, AutoCAD, and Catia.

• Knowledge of specific customer needs (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA)

• Manually skilled personality.​
