Accountant (m/f)

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for a motivated Accountant to join our accounting team. In this role, you will contribute to financial data processing, the preparation of financial statements, and communication with both internal teams and clients. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, resolve accounting issues, and collaborate with experts across the firm. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Processing and verification of primary accounting documents 

• Working with bank statements, making payments and reconciliations 

• Making accounting entries and maintaining accounting records in ERP systems 

• Supporting payroll (salary calculation) processes under instructions of a senior accountant 

• Assisting with registering tax invoices and processing related documentation 

• Preparation and support of VAT reporting under supervision of a senior accountant 

• Supporting senior team members in accounting and tax compliance tasks 

• Communication with internal teams and, when required, with clients

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

Qualifications: 

• Academic degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent relevant experience) 

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and knowledge of Ukrainian tax legislation 

• Some practical experience (at minimum 1 year) relating to processing primary documents, making accounting entries, registering tax invoices, processing bank payments, etc. 

• Some practical experience (at minimum 1 year) working with accounting systems (BAS / 1C / SAP / Navision – an advantage) 

• Good skills in working in MS Excel 

• Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to follow instructions 

• Ability to work as part of a team and manage routine tasks responsibly 

• Fluent Ukrainian and an intermediate level of English, Slovak (optional) 

• Valid work permit for Slovakia
