IT Tester

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

Supports Digital Technology deliverables and applications, oversees assigned day-to-day technical activitie. Ensures reliable and secure operation of systems, services and infrastructure.

• Creates and regularly revises test cases (based on the specification and models from the analysis and design phases).
• Creates test scripts - also automated (functional and load).
• Performs and analyses the results of the launched tests and reports the found bugs to the person responsible for their solution, is cooperative in their solution and is responsible for their retesting.
• Is responsible for the efficient course of tests and keeping the test scripts up-to-date.
• Submits proposals for changing existing processes and methodological guidelines to IT and proposals for appropriate test automation to the Test Manager.
• Collaborates in creating test plans, test cases.
• Is responsible for following the agreed plan, standards and chosen testing strategy.
• Is responsible for testing new applications, enhancements, and changes in applications in all phases of testing in accordance with applicable standards.
• Evaluates the acceptance criteria (on the preparation of the acceptance protocol).
• Performs the design, creation, regular maintenance and documentation of test scripts and also creates and updates manuals describing the setup and execution of test scripts.
• Follows the methodology of agreed internal standards and processes.
• Supports team members and other teams with advice in solving specific problems and in performing acceptance tests.
• Cooperates in evaluating the workability of new requests for changes in SW, in creating input data, in creating test cases and steps to test cases.
• Collaborates in the analysis of the test environment.
• Performs and is responsible for validations after implementing changes to production systems.
• Actively participates in solving problems in the production operation.
• Self-educates in the field of SW and testing techniques.
