Hitachi Energy is a global technology company delivering innovative energy solutions around the world. As we continue to expand our Steel Structures Engineering Team based in Brno, we are also opening this opportunity to candidates in Slovakia through our Bratislava office.

You can work remotely from home or from our office in Bratislava. Occasional business trips to Brno will be required, as this is where the rest of the team is located. What can you expect?

You will become part of international projects that make a real impact around the world, ranging from offshore wind farms and nuclear power plants to offshore platforms. You will collaborate with colleagues across Switzerland, the United States, and India, contributing to the development of the energy infrastructure of the future.

Your main responsibilities

• Creating 3D models of steel structures using Tekla Structures

• Performing structural and dynamic analyses and modelling in SCIA Engineer (Eurocode, AISC, and other international standards)

• Designing anchoring systems using Hilti Engineering

• Assessing and verifying structural details in IDEA StatiCa

• Preparing complete fabrication and manufacturing documentation for international projects

• Collaborating closely with engineering colleagues and global project teams

• Contributing to the development and improvement of internal tools and processes

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• A degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Structural Engineering or Steel Structures being an advantage

• At least 4 years of professional experience in the design, analysis, or assessment of steel structures

• Hands-on experience with tools such as Tekla Structures, SCIA Engineer, IDEA StatiCa, or similar structural design and calculation software

• The ability to read, interpret, and prepare technical documentation and engineering drawings

• Knowledge of structural design in accordance with Eurocodes and, ideally, other international standards

• Good command of English, enabling effective communication with international colleagues and participation in global projects

• A proactive and responsible approach, with the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team

• A genuine interest in further developing expertise in steel structures and international engineering projects
