Zurich Integrated Benefits (ZIB) seeks a Senior Business Analyst for its Corporate Life and Pensions Workbench (CLPW) solution. 
ZIB develops employee benefits insurance solutions for corporate customers. Our most important IT asset is CLP Quotes, which is a business critical quoting application used in over 10 different markets in Europe, Middle East, and Asia. CLPW will be a complete re-platform of CLP Quotes on a new technology stack, with many additional features. We are looking for a business-oriented and motivated Senior Business Analyst with strong technical skills to be a key contributor to this new platform build. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure CLPW closely aligns with their business needs, and partner with a team of project managers, analysts, developers, and testers to build, implement, operate, and maintain CLPW. The candidate will also support the Lead Business Analyst of the project directly and help drive the initiative forward in unison.

As a Senior Business Analyst, your primary responsibilities will be to: 

• Work closely with the CLPW Lead BA, Product Owner, market leads, and IT to define the scope and objectives of the CLPW build. Conduct interviews and workshops to solicit and validate market needs.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive culture on the BA team and the wider CLPW delivery team.  
• Assist in designing and implementing methodologies for the BAs taking into consideration the CLPW delivery framework and internal working environment.
• Elicit, analyze, specify, validate, and document functional specifications and business requirements at all levels of complexity.
• In support of the CLPW Lead BA and Product Owner, serve as the primary day to day link between market stakeholders and the CLPW delivery team. Regularly interact with market leads to manage the relationship and identify needs, while working with key stakeholders of the delivery team, including the ZIB IT Lead, the IT Development Lead, and testers.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
• Ability to perform complex tasks with minimal coaching.

As a Senior Business Analyst your skills and experience will ideally include:

• Master’s degree.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with exceptional communication and leadership abilities to ensure that projects deliver real value to the markets.
• 4-5 years in a Business Analyst role with a proven track record of delivering value to customers, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, with other language capabilities welcome.
• Experience of working with APIs and other forms of platform integration
• Ability to think creatively and work collaboratively with teams to solve business challenges.
• Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with a successful track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with various project stakeholders.
• Affinity for detail, design, quality, process.
• Fast learning, self-motivated, proactive, and able to show initiative.
• Positive attitude with ability to adapt in a changing environment.
• ITIL, DevOps experience preferable.
