General Ledger Accountant (m/f/d)

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

Join Danfoss as a General Ledger Accountant and play an important role in ensuring accurate and reliable financial reporting within our Shared Service Centre. You’ll collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across the organization while building your accounting expertise in an international environment.

This position has Považská Bystrica, Slovakia, as the primary location, with Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Poland, as the secondary location. You will report to a local Manager.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage general ledger accounting activities independently to maintain accurate and timely financial records.

• Record accounting transactions in the general ledger to support reliable financial reporting.

• Manage fixed assets and investments in line with applicable requirements and regulations.

• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities according to company guidelines and applicable legislation.

• Support internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, by providing accurate accounting information and timely assistance.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• Education in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, together with relevant practical accounting experience.

• Good understanding of general ledger accounting and financial processes, with strong attention to accuracy and detail.

• Good English communication skills for working effectively in an international environment.

• Confidence using Microsoft Office tools and the ability to work with accounting or ERP systems such as SAP.

• A collaborative and open-minded approach, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn new processes.
