Data Engineer (Junior-Senior), IČO, cooperation for 7 months, 100% Home office

Basic information:

• For our client, a globally known and successful company, we are looking for Data Engineers who want to gain new experience and knowledge for their professional development in addition to working for a prestigious, strong and stable company
• You will join existing team and running international project
• Cooperation on IČO for 6-7 months, potential for long-term cooperation
• The work can be performed 100% from Home office, or if you like, you may work in the luxury office of our client in Prague any time
• We pay a fair price, your invoice is due within 3 working days
• Start of work: asap, by agreement
• Fast decision making in hiring process, only one round of interview via Teams videocall
• We are looking for team players and individuals who perform professionally top-quality work in the required time

Expected and nice to have knowledge/experience:

• According to your level of seniority (Junior-Senior) we expect you to have the appropriate level of knowledge and experience:
• Experience with Architecture and Big Data solutions
• Ability to build and automate data engineering pipelines in AWS Cloud environment
• AWS S3, Redshift, EMR, Glue and Athena knowledge
• Hands-on experience with Spark, Python, pySpark programming, SQL
• Confluence, Jira, GIT
• Reliability, consistency, diligence in work, professionalism
• Very good analytical and communication skills
• English for professional work (Czech or Slovak language not needed)
• Nice to have: Certification in AWS or other cloud technologies, experience in international projects in Telco or Banking business, experience with full remote cooperation
