Our recruitment agency is looking for an Expert Finance Data & Technology for our client, an international company operating in the energy, fuels, and chemicals industry. You will join a role where finance, data, and technology meet, supporting reliable reporting, better analytics, and continuous improvement across controlling activities.


Tasks:
• Prepare financial analyses, management reports, and budget forecasts.
• Support monthly and annual closing activities.
• Improve core controlling processes and help make reporting more efficient.
• Develop finance analytics methods, tools, and best practices across the organization.
• Check financial data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Propose corrective actions when financial data or reporting outputs need improvement.
• Support internal controls and ensure compliance with controlling standards.
• Drive automation, optimization, and harmonization of controlling-related IT systems and reporting tools.
• Act as a key user for finance systems in daily operations and system enhancements.
• Work as a subject-matter expert for BI reporting, advanced analytics, and data-driven financial modeling.
• Support ad-hoc analyses, deviation reviews, and special controlling projects.
• Take part in broader departmental activities related to reporting, data analysis, and project work.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
• University degree at Master’s level in economics, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong background in financial analysis, reporting, or controlling.
• Business knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to communicate financial insights clearly.
• Structured, reliable, and accurate working style.
• High sense of responsibility when preparing, validating, and visualizing financial data.
• Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and understand process dependencies.
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
• Experience with Python/R, SQL, SAP BW/HANA, OneStream, or cloud platforms is an advantage.
• Fluency in Slovak and English.
