As a Sourcing Project Manager within our Hydrostatics Division, you will play a key role in driving supplier strategy, cost optimization, and project execution across a global manufacturing environment. Your work will directly support business growth by building strong supplier partnerships and delivering sustainable value.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers worldwide to identify opportunities, manage sourcing initiatives, and ensure successful implementation of product and supplier changes. Through your leadership, you will help improve quality, productivity, and supply chain resilience.This is an exciting opportunity to influence sourcing decisions, lead strategic projects, and contribute to innovative solutions that support Danfoss' long-term success.What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead sourcing and supplier projects that deliver cost savings, quality improvements, and business value.

• Partner with engineering, project management, and category teams to support new product development and supplier integration.

• Develop and strengthen supplier relationships to identify innovation opportunities and build a pipeline of productivity improvements.

• Manage supplier changes, redesign initiatives, and sourcing transitions while ensuring quality and compliance requirements are met.

• Identify potential supply chain risks and drive mitigation actions to support project success and business continuity.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• 5+ years of international procurement or sourcing experience in a global environment.

• Demonstrated project management experience with a proven track record of delivering ambitious objectives.

• Strong personal drive and persistence, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, matrix organization.

• Experience in strategic sourcing, cost reduction initiatives, supplier negotiations, risk mitigation, and commodity market management, ideally within raw materials, castings, machining, or turned parts categories.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation, combined with strong communication skills and a global mindset.
