IT Product Owner

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We're looking for a Product Owner to join Greentube Slovakia and take ownership of a key part of our Nova platform. You'll work at the intersection of business needs, technology, and user experience — translating vision into a clear, prioritized backlog and guiding a dedicated team from idea to delivery.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys owning outcomes, not just writing tickets: you'll shape the roadmap for your area, work closely with engineering and QA, and be the go-to person for what gets built and why.

What you'll do

• Own the product backlog for your area of the Nova platform, translating stakeholder needs and business goals into clear user stories and acceptance criteria

• Understand your stakeholders' needs and priorities, and act as the main link between them and the development team

• Collect and document business requirements, then work with the development team to translate them into concrete technical requirements

• Define and communicate a short, medium, and long-term product roadmap for your area, aligned with the broader Nova platform strategy

• Keep the backlog transparent and up to date for stakeholders, and manage prioritization as priorities shift

• Work daily with a cross-functional development team, making quick decisions on scope, edge cases, and priorities during implementation

• Collaborate with other Product Owners, architects, and Tribe/Team Leads to keep your area aligned with the rest of the platform

• Define acceptance criteria and validate delivered features against them

• Monitor how your part of the product performs after release and feed learnings back into the backlog

• Support sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as the voice of the product

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar role in a software product environment

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum practices

Professional skills

• Requirements engineering and structuring

• Working knowledge of JIRA

• User story design and breakdown

• Backlog management and prioritization

• Ability to write clear, testable acceptance criteria (e.g., Gherkin-style)

Personal skills

• High degree of self-organization

• Strong communication skills

• Team spirit

• Good analytical skills and attention to detail

• Fluent English; Slovak is a plus for local team collaboration

• Experience in iGaming, betting, or a similarly regulated software domain is an advantage but not required
