About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Process Engineer to support and further develop manufacturing processes within our Trebišov plant during an exciting phase of growth.

The company is evolving from a locally-driven setup towards a more structured, international environment, with new production lines and technologies being introduced.

This role is not purely analytical — it is an opportunity to:

• work directly on the shop floor,

• understand and improve production processes,

• actively contribute to building and stabilizing a new manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and drive process optimization on the shop floor, including supervising process execution and supporting operators.

• Understand machine capabilities and define optimal process settings.

• Monitor and analyze production performance to improve efficiency, quality, and waste reduction.

• Identify and troubleshoot process-related issues (e.g. sealing, registration, material behavior) and lead root cause analysis (RCA/CAPA).

• Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives, including:

  • Lean activities (e.g. 5S, SMED),

  • waste reduction and process optimization.

• Contribute to improving overall production performance by:

  • reducing scrap and downtime,

  • improving OEE, quality, and cost efficiency.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with:

  • production teams,

  • technical management,

  • quality teams,

  • group experts (international support).

• Ensure accurate process data tracking and reporting (MES / ERP systems).

• Support training and knowledge sharing to ensure consistent process execution.

• Develop and maintain process documentation, including:

  • SOPs,

  • FMEA / PFMEA,

  • flow charts and layouts.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

Must have:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automation, Production Engineering, Mechatronics or similar).

• Experience in a manufacturing / production environment.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, SMED, CI tools).

• Hands-on approach and willingness to work directly on the shop floor.

• Proactive, self-driven mindset with ability to work independently.

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

• Good communication skills.

• Working level of English.

• Willingness to travel (up to 15%).

Nice to have:

• Experience as:

  • process engineer, or

  • production engineer, or

  • advanced shopfloor role (e.g. technician/operator with process understanding).

• Project management experience in equipment relocation, installation or plant upgrades.

• Knowledge of:

  • OEE, TPM,

  • Experience in flexible packaging / printing/ converting,

  • Basic CAD or technical drawing skills.
