Logistics Manager

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

• Managing all activties related to production scheduling, production supply, warehouse operation and expedition

• Ensuring on-time deliceries to internal and external customers

• Identifying opportunities to optimize the site’s logistics chain

• Driving operational excellence and improving performance indicators

• Optimizing supply chain efficiency, resources utilization, production scheduling, inventory levels, and physical flows

• Managing finished goods inventories, order preparation, and customer shipments

• Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements

• Participating in the budgeting process

• Optimizing expenses

• Proposing storage area layouts and preparing requests for increased storage capacity

• Managing the Logistics Team with up to 40 employees

• Setting objectives and conducting annual performance reviews with first-line Supervisors

• Reporting to the Plant Manager and the functional leader at the headquarters

• Actively participating in cross-functional and cross-border projects including business trips abroad

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• University degree

• Minimum 4 years of experience on a similar position with responsibility for compex supply chain management

• Experience in a production, preferably international environment

• Very good understanding of supply chain processes

• Keen on automation, Lean and process optimization

• Fluency in English and Slovak languages

• Advanced PC user (MS Office)

• Knowledge of SAP is highly welcome

• Strong people leader, able to motivate and engage the team

• Very good communication and presentation skills

• Active, independent

• Hands-on

• Motivated to learn and grow
