Project Delivery Lead with German language

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
• Own end-to-end delivery of software development and implementation projects, independently or with onsite teams, ensuring timely, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes.

• Set up and lead the delivery team from day one, defining roles, ways of working, and enabling strong performance across the project lifecycle.

• Create and manage the project plan: break down scope, assign ownership, monitor progress, and address deviations early.

• Act as the central communication hub, aligning client, leadership, and delivery teams on status, decisions, and risks.

• Proactively manage risks and issues, maintaining a live register with clear mitigation and escalation actions.

• Oversee budget and resources, tracking spend, forecasting accurately, and flagging variances early.

• Ensure adherence to delivery methodologies, standards, and quality gates across waterfall, agile, or hybrid models.

• Lead project reviews and reporting, providing clear updates and supporting timely decision-making.

• Manage scope changes by assessing impacts, documenting decisions, and aligning stakeholders before approval.

• Foster a positive team culture, encouraging open communication, resolving conflicts, and maintaining motivation under pressure.

• Serve as the escalation point, removing blockers and shielding the team to maintain focus on delivery.

• Support pre-sales activities, including solution scoping, estimation, and proposal preparation.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
• 5+ years of proven experience delivering software development or implementation projects in an international, client-facing environment.

• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle, enabling effective risk identification and credible collaboration with technical teams.

• Solid project management skills — able to build plans, manage budgets and risks, and produce clear status reports independently.

• Proven stakeholder management — confident handling client expectations, escalations, and difficult scope, timeline, or quality discussions.

• Experience leading distributed, cross-functional teams across locations and time zones.

• Analytical and structured mindset — able to identify root causes and drive solutions, not just highlight issues.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, business, or a related field.

• English proficiency - (C1)

• German language - (C1)

• Slovak language - (C1/C2)

• Willingness to work either from our Bratislava or Kosice office (at least 3x per week) and to go on business trips within Europe
