EMEA Import Export Sr Analyst (Maternity backfill)

Lenovo is seeking an Import Export Sr. Analyst to join our Global Import Export Compliance team, supporting the EMEA Services teams. This is a full-time position based in Bratislava, requiring a strong understanding of global trade compliance laws and regulations, with a focus on the EMEA region. The role involves collaboration with international teams and external partners, ensuring compliance and operational excellence in customs and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day assistance to business units on compliance with customs and other government agencies.
Support the EMEA Import Export Sr. Manager and team with customs-related requests and audits.
Manage Service Intrastat reports in Europe in collaboration with the Intrastat Service provider.
Execute import/export compliance activities, including commodity jurisdictions and product classifications.
Ensure all customs clearance documents (e.g., invoices, freight documents, packaging lists, T1 forms) are compliant.
Provide product (HTS) classification for the Service team in SAP systems.
Archive and maintain records of customs-related documents.
Act as the operational contact for brokers, carriers, and internal Lenovo departments.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in economics or equivalent education in freight forwarding or customs.
ideally 3–5 years of work experience in customs or logistics
Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Background in Intrastat reporting is preferable.
Knowledge of global trade compliance laws and regulations, particularly in the EMEA region is appreciated
Highly motivated and able to work under pressure.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Stress resistance and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Base gross monthly salary starting from 1950 EUR, depending on experience, plus a variable part amounting to 12% of annual earnings.
