Plant Manager

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are seeking a suitable candidate to take on the role of Plant Manager and lead the startup and development of a new plant in Slovakia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the recruitment and onboarding of technical and operational personnel in Slovakia.
• Organize and supervise the plant startup, including layout planning, workflow organization, and compliance with legal and safety standards.
•  Oversee production, assembly, logistics, and local procurement activities.
• Develop and manage a local supply chain, identifying and qualifying reliable suppliers and subcontractors for components, materials, and services.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of production orders while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Act as the key interface with the Italian headquarters, ensuring smooth coordination on all technical and operational fronts.
• Develop and manage KPI-based performance monitoring and continuous improvement plans.
• Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and labor regulations.
• Promote a collaborative and professional working environment, aligned with company values.
• Support the digitalization and automation roadmap, in line with our smart manufacturing strategy.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

- At least 5–7 years of experience in plant management, operations, or production leadership in a manufacturing environment (preferably in the machinery, automation, or mechanical sectors).

- Experience in greenfield/startup projects or company growth phases is a strong plus.

-  Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, workforce management, and plant logistics.

- Proven experience in developing and managing local supply chains. 

- Fluent in English (mandatory); Italian is a strong plus.

- Solid leadership and communication skills, with a pragmatic, hands-on mindset. 

- Willingness to travel occasionally to the Italian HQ for training or coordination.
