You’ll work on hands-on projects aligned to our ESG priorities, seeing first-hand how conducting business responsibly and generating value sustainably underpins our forever caring promise to patients and customers. Interns will join cross-functional teams across areas such as materials science, engineering, supply chain, data, technology and operations, helping to shape ideas into practical solutions while developing experience employers value.

This role reports into the EHS lead in Slovakia. You will be responsible for establishing improved working practices, embedding Zero Waste to Landfill and carbon footprint reduction in waste handling and segregation processes

The role will be active across the Slovakia manufacturing site.

100% paid internship:  7,00 € / hourly. 

Length of assignment: 3 months.

Hours per week: 20 hours. 

Your main tasks:

• Work closely with manufacturing and warehouse team to understand how current process of waste segregation working, collect data, evaluate them and propose solutions to given task (project)  

• Work closely with manufacturing team to understand how current waste handling is set to understand impact on environment and propose potential improvement

• Take part in some meetings with waste handling vendors where value added to main task assigned

• Present findings to Slovakia Leadership Team

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

About you:

• Ability to work independently and be an excellent team player

• Good attention to detail

• At least basic knowledge of waste handling hierarchy, legislation requirement, technical options of recycling

• Ability to present and communicate clearly and concisely

• Flexible, adaptable and capable of lateral thinking

• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills with ability to multi-task

• Strong user of all Microsoft applications

• English language – good communication level.
