We’re looking for a Global Payments Specialist to join our dynamic Operations Team at Global Blue — ensuring travellers around the world receive their tax refunds quickly, securely, and efficiently.

This is a maternity cover role that offers you the chance to step into an essential position in a truly international environment, gain valuable cross-departmental experience, and leave your mark on how millions of global shoppers experience our services.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be at the heart of our high-volume, multi-currency payment operations, making sure every transaction is processed with precision and on time. Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing and reconciling refund payments (bank transfers, credit card, Alipay, cheques)

• Monitoring and executing debit orders and reversals with credit card companies

• Identifying and escalating payment issues or discrepancies

• Supporting Accounting & Treasury with accurate data and reports

• Helping improve processes and payment flows

• Participating in system upgrades and cross-functional projects

• Keeping process documentation up to date

• Jumping in on ad-hoc tasks as a proactive team member

What You Bring

• Sharp attention to detail and comfort working with numbers

• Methodical, reliable, and organized work style

• Good English communication skills (spoken & written)

• Confidence using Excel and other office tools

• Team spirit and eagerness to learn new systems and processes

• Experience in finance operations or payments is a plus — but not essential
