Payroll Consultant (UK Payroll)

What you’ll do:

*Act as a subject matter expert for UK payroll and support/payroll advice for other European jurisdictions, especially Germany.
*Manage and support multiple payrolls across the UK and Europe, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
*Liaise with external payroll providers, resolve issues, and drive service quality.
*Lead and support payroll transformation projects, system enhancements, vendor transitions, and implementation of legislative changes.
*Conduct payroll audits and support internal/external compliance activities.
*Advise the business on the impact of changing payroll legislation across jurisdictions.
*Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processes and data flows.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
* Significant demonstrable experience in UK payroll operations and legislation
* Hands-on experience supporting German payroll. Belgian/Dutch payroll expertise is a plus.
* Strong understanding of payroll compliance, statutory reporting, and audit requirements.
* Experience managing outsourced payroll providers and vendor relationships
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
* Confident user of payroll systems (e.g. Workday, ADP, SAP, or similar).
* Ability to communicate complex payroll concepts clearly to non-specialists
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a fast-paced team.

Desirable:

* CIPP qualification or equivalent (UK)
* Language skills in German, Dutch, or French are a plus.
* Experience in professional services or multinational environments.
