Industrial Controller

In this role, you will act as a key finance business partner to the manufacturing organization, providing financial and operational insights to support business performance and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Production & Operational Controlling: Prepare and analyze production cost controlling and operational KPIs.

• Cost Monitoring: Monitor manufacturing costs, material costs, labor costs, and overheads.

• Variance Analysis: Analyze actual vs. budget/forecast figures and explain significant variances.

• Management Reporting: Prepare monthly management reporting and operational performance reports.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the annual budget and forecasting processes.

• Product Costing: Calculate and monitor product costs, standard costs, and production variances.

• Inventory Controlling: Analyze inventory, stock movements, and inventory valuation.

• Efficiency & Productivity: Monitor production efficiency, productivity, scrap rates, downtime, and capacity utilization.

• Month-End Closing: Support month-end closing activities, including accruals, provisions, and cost allocations.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, and Finance teams.

• CAPEX & Process Improvements: Provide financial analysis for investment decisions (CAPEX), identify cost-saving opportunities, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: University degree (Minimum Bachelor's degree / First stage of higher education, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics).

• Experience:Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in controlling, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of cost accounting and management accounting.

• Language Skills:English language – Upper-Intermediate / B2 level (essential for daily communication).

• Excel Skills:Expert level (ability to create well-structured tables, utilize advanced functions, and analyze complex datasets).

• ERP Systems: Experience with ERP systems is required; experience specifically with SAP is a significant advantage.

• Analytical Skills: Precise approach to numbers with the ability to identify trends, variances, or potential financial risks and opportunities.

• Personal Attributes: Proactive, solution-oriented working attitude; excellent interpersonal and communication skills (ability to explain financial results to non-financial managers); ability to work independently and autonomously.
