We are currently looking for a professional to join our team in  Bratislava, as a  

SENIOR AIR FREIGHT SPECIALIST (k/m/d)

You will be the first person fully responsible for airfreight shipments within our Bratislava team, playing a key role in ensuring smooth and high-quality execution in line with established processes and standards. As Senior Air Freight Specialist (k/m/d), you will be responsible for: 

• Independently managing end-to-end airfreight shipments (both import and export), taking full ownership of the process from booking to final delivery 

• Arranging and coordinating air shipments in a timely and cost-effective manner 

• Coordinating closely with airlines, handling agents, haulers, warehouses, and Customs Authorities 

• Preparing and reviewing shipping documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance 

• Tracking and monitoring shipments proactively, ensuring visibility and quick resolution of any issues 

• Ensuring accurate and timely data entry in internal systems 

• Supporting the sales team by delivering operational expertise and solutions 

• Taking ownership of developing customer relationships by delivering excellent service and ensuring high customer satisfaction 

• Contributing indirectly to business development by identifying opportunities within existing customer relationships 

• Ensuring full compliance with IATA regulations and internal procedures 

• Verifying Dangerous Goods (DG) documentation in accordance with regulations 

• Ensuring timely and accurate billing 

What makes you special for us: 

• Proven experience (min. 3–5 years) in airfreight forwarding, with a strong track record of independently managing complex shipments (import/export) 

• Solid technical knowledge of airfreight processes and the local airfreight market  

• Strong knowledge of customs procedures and international trade regulations 

• Confidence in working autonomously and taking ownership, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset 

• Ability to build trusted relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams 

•  Strong customer service and sales-oriented mindset with a positive and proactive approach to clients 

• Experience in handling more complex or sensitive shipments (e.g. DG) is a strong advantage 

• Fluency in English and Slovak  

• A collaborative mindset with the ambition to grow further and contribute to building future capabilities within the team
