Process Engineer - Welding Specialist

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

• Develop welding process specifications in accordance with customer requirements and ensure that the overall approval process monitors their applications in the production process.

• Create ongoing improvement plans based on measurable data leading to a reduction of scrap in the welding process.

• Ensure that welding techniques, tools, and consumables are properly managed to ensure the best quality of welds while maintaining assembly throughput. This includes monitoring the condition of spare parts and equipment/tools and their maintenance.

• Responsible for daily production outputs for all welding equipment.

​• Design or participate in the design of electrodes and non-standard welding equipment.

• Support in training personnel in techniques for analyzing weld quality; while performing manual welding processes and setting and controlling weld settings in general.

• Conduct accurate calculations of throughput for all manufacturing resources.

• Determine production cycles.

• Identify sources of process limitations/slowdowns and capacity constraint resources.

• Assess operator utilization.

• Evaluate ergonomic conditions.

• Conduct standard work studies.

• Implement error proofing.​

​• Capacity planning.

• Completion of work instructions.

• Evaluation and coordination in eliminating safety risks.

• Preparation of setting instructions and guidelines for repairs.

• Creation and updating of a tool list.

• Specifies and approves the order and production of tools to suppliers.​

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

​• In-depth knowledge of welding and individual processes (MIG, TIG, spot welding, etc.).

• Excellent knowledge of materials and their overview (welding materials and their applications in metal forming and welding).

• Knowledge of fluid technology, their requirements, and products.

• Hands-on skilled personality.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels, both internal and external.​
