Responsibilities

  • Handling and resolving standard IT tickets and service requests

  • Monitoring and validating backup jobs

  • Performing operating system and server patching

  • Managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights

  • Supporting end users and troubleshooting day-to-day IT issues

  • Monitoring and maintaining IT infrastructure

  • Assisting with Microsoft 365 administration

  • Supporting Windows and Linux environments

  • Collaborating with infrastructure, database, and security teams

  • Maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures

Requirements

  • Interest in IT administration and operations

  • Junior candidates with strong motivation to learn are welcome

  • Experience in IT administration, infrastructure operations, or technical support is an advantage

  • Knowledge of some of the following technologies:

    • Windows Server

    • Linux

    • Microsoft 365

    • Client operating systems

    • Networking

    • Fortinet

    • Backup solutions (NetBackup is a plus)

    • SQL databases

  • Basic understanding of ITIL-based service management processes is an advantage.

  • Experience working in IT infrastructure operations environments

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks

  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude

  • Good communication skills in English

Nice to Have

  • German language skills (minimum B2 level)

  • Experience working in English- and German-speaking environments

  • Microsoft, Linux, Fortinet, or other relevant certifications

  • Previous experience in international IT operations teams
