Advanced Operations Process Engineer

Position Overview:

In this role, you will work closely with R&D, project managers, and manufacturing teams to develop, validate, and introduce robust processes and equipment into our global operations network. Your work will directly contribute to delivering life‑changing products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run process investigations, experiments, and Proof‑of‑Principle trials with R&D and AO teams.

• Apply structured engineering tools such as Fish-bone diagram, DOE, process mapping, and risk assessments.

• Provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Automation (DFA) recommendations throughout the design cycle.

• Review materials, processes, and test specifications to ensure smooth transfer into manufacturing.

• Lead troubleshooting activities using Six Sigma principles.

• Support technical leads and act as a deputy when needed.

• Contribute to process FMEAs, tolerance setting, and sampling plan development.

• Support automation project managers in preparing URS requirements.

• Write and execute validation documentation (URS, FAT, SAT, IQ).

• Support validation runs (OQ, PQ) and support equipment run‑ins and ramp‑ups.

• Attend design reviews with vendors and challenge solutions to ensure equipment meets long‑term production needs.

• Maintain technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

• Ensure full and effective knowledge transfer to local site engineering and operations teams during handover.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

Skills & Experience:

Mandatory

• Be proficient in the use (speaking) and understanding (reading and writing) of the English and Slovak language.

• Ability to work on multiple teams and projects simultaneously.

• Ability to read and review engineering drawings; experience with CAD software packages (e.g., SolidWorks) is desirable.

• Demonstrable experience and knowledge in mechanical/design engineering or process engineering (essential).

• 1–2 years of experience as a process engineer or in a similar role within manufacturing, engineering, or operations.

• Knowledge of equipment installation and validation.

Advantage

• Experience working within Operations, Engineering, or R&D teams on automated equipment or new product introduction.

• Experience with automated production and assembly equipment, automated material handling systems, or automated packaging (primary/secondary/tertiary).

• Understanding of full project lifecycle activities: URS, RFP, POP, FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ through to handover.

• Six Sigma Green Belt (or working towards it).

  
  

Qualifications/Education:

Mandatory

• At least Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, etc.) or a scientific subject.

• Design control, statistical techniques, and validation standards.

Advantage

• Process Excellence Green or Black Belt.

• LEAN methodologies training/qualification.
