React Native Developer (iOS)

AIApply helps job seekers land jobs faster with AI: auto-apply, tailored resumes and cover letters, and interview prep. Our iOS app, Auto-Apply, is live on the App Store and already has paying subscribers.

We're building a new mobile team, and you're the first hire. You'll own the app: the product, the code, releases and the metrics. As the app grows, you'll build and lead the team around it.

What you'll own

• The whole iOS app: architecture, features, quality, releases and App Store submissions. It's your codebase.

• The mobile roadmap: work with product and growth to decide what to build next, then ship it

• Revenue flows: paywalls (Superwall), in-app purchasBottova 2aes, and App Store subscription and retention APIs

• Feature parity with web: decide what moves from the web product to mobile, and how

• Analytics and attribution: PostHog, Meta and TikTok SDKs, so every release can be measured

• Stability: watch Sentry and fix crashes, hangs and failed network calls before users notice

• Release process: fast, frequent updates with EAS Build/Submit and OTA updates

• The team, later: set the engineering standards, then hire and lead the next mobile engineers as we grow

What you bring

• 4+ years with React Native, including apps you've shipped to the App Store and owned after launch

• Strong TypeScript and a deep grasp of React

• Hands-on Expo / EAS experience: builds, OTA updates, config plugins

• iOS know-how: StoreKit / IAP, App Store Connect, TestFlight, provisioning, review guidelines

• Comfortable dropping into native code (Swift / Obj-C) when a library isn't enough

• An owner's mindset: you take a goal, decide the approach, ship it and check the result, without waiting for tickets

• Product sense: you care whether users convert and stay, not only whether the code works

• You want to grow into a lead role: mentoring, code review, hiring

Nice to have

• You've been the first or only mobile engineer somewhere before

• Experience with Superwall, RevenueCat or Adapty

• Mobile attribution: deep links, SKAdNetwork, Meta/TikTok SDKs

• Android release experience

• Backend exposure (Laravel / PHP or Node)
