Become part of one of the TOP 2 largest global leaders in sports betting affiliate marketing, operating a portfolio of multiple high-traffic content and comparison platforms, visited by more than 100 million users annually.

The engineering organization builds and maintains several large-scale web products - from affiliate marketing platforms and betting comparison portals to content-heavy SEO sites and data-driven recommendation systems. These systems serve millions of monthly users across dozens of countries and operate with very high performance, availability, and SEO sensitivity.

The company invests heavily in technology, automation, data intelligence, and platform scalability. Their tech stack includes a variety of modern backend and infrastructure tools - e.g., Node.js, PHP (Laravel), Python, microservices, cloud-native deployments, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, distributed caching, relational & NoSQL databases, and event-driven architectures.

As a Backend Engineer, you will cooperate on building and evolving capabilities used across multiple products. Your main focus will be on a commercial area, steering core capabilities that directly influence revenue generation. 

You will be responsible for:

• Designing, building, and maintaining backend services used across multiple products
• Developing API-first solutions using modern design principles
• Work primarily with TypeScript and Node.js, while understanding legacy systems in PHP and Go
• Collaborate closely with other backend engineers (team of 6–8, mostly backend-focused) and a Senior Engineering Manager
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making at a staff level
• Contribute to long-term technical strategy and backend best practices across the organisation

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• Extensive experience as a senior/staff-level backend engineer
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience with API-first design and modern backend architecture patterns
• Ability to understand and work with legacy codebases (PHP, Go)
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setup (3–4 days onsite in Bratislava)
• Excellent English and Slovak communication skills

Nice to have:

• LLM-related experience
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
