As Lead Test Engineer you will do implementation, regular problem solving, maintenance and support for agile software development of Caterpillar’s products. You will also: 
- Work on one of the biggest Cat web application (parts.cat.com).
- Coordinate planning, strategy and testing activities across wider portfolio of teams.
- Leading innovation and improvements in the product and testing streams
- Measure team efficiency and productivity and steer compliance against agreed KPIs
- Independently working on business valuable features. 
- Maintaining high quality standards of software. 
- Reporting on and managing defects found by the test team and assisting in prioritizing their solutions. 
- Hands-on managing development and implementation of automated tests utilizing and Typescript or similar framework/language.
- Defining and implementing test systems and frameworks necessary to assure the quality of software. 
- Mentoring and helping other test engineers and providing them guidance in creating high class and well-structured test cases. 
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in IT development and Quality Assurance. 

This position works directly with Slovakia based engineering leadership and Caterpillar in the US.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
- Software Development: Knowledge of software development tools and activities; ability to produce software products or systems in line with product requirements.
- Software Product Testing: Knowledge of software product testing; ability to design, plan, and execute testing strategies and tactics to ensure software product quality and adherence to stated requirements.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Top candidates will also have:
- Proven experience with Agile software testing & quality assurance and respective team / activity coordination.
- Experience with integrating continuous testing into CI/CD pipelines, shift left methodologies & seamless delivery of software
- General experience with testing tools, technologies and frameworks applicable to different product development needs.
- Experience with setting up processes in and configuration of test management and automation tools.
- Experience with Playwright and Typescript for automation including backend tools like Postman/Bruno etc. 
- Understanding of specifics related to testing of responsive applications. 
- Experience with Azure DevOps or alternative tool.
