Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

The primary objective of a Senior Infrastructure Administrator is to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of an organization’s ICT infrastructure.
This role balances day-to-day operational support with long-term infrastructure management and optimization.

Core responsibilities:

• Configuration and administration of IT infrastructure
• Analysis and isolation of problems, troubleshooting
• Management of IT knowledge base
• Monitoring, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
• Configuration management
• Creating and maintaining relevant documentation between parties
• Close cooperation with project management teams
• Coordination and execution of integration with customer
• Support of production environment

Requirements:

• General knowledge of IT in the domain of system administration, databases, network, wifi, security, and HA deployments)
• Experience with setup, administration, and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN and its IP services (DHCP, DNS, Firewall, and basic routing)
• Experience with the full life cycle of IT infrastructure deployment (engineering, deployment, updating, patching)
• Experience with multi-site monitoring and system auditing
• Experience with Cyber Security - understanding basic concepts
• At least 5 years of experience with IT infrastructure in roles such system administrator, IT operations manager/specialist, infrastructure specialist
• Experience with Virtualization technologies and containerization technologies
• Experience with Linux administration
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Responsible team player with good communication skills
• Great command of English and Slovak language

Preferred Skill Set/Nice to have:

• Experience with monitoring - Zabbix or similar
• Experience with containerization - Docker
• Experience with virtualization - Proxmox, VMware or similar
• Experience with writing / reading Bash scripts
• Experience with automatization - Ansible
• Experience with routers / firewall - pfsense or similar
• Experience with a Cisco based switches
• Experience with Mikrotik devices
• Experience with Debian/Ubuntu linux
