Accounting Specialist

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

We are looking for a motivated Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team in Galanta.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of accounting experience who wants to grow in an international environment and learn from an experienced finance team.

What you will do:

• Handle daily accounting tasks and ensure financial operations run smoothly

• Prepare VAT returns, statutory filings, and audit-ready reports

• Monitor data flow between SAP and billing systems, reconcile discrepancies

• Take ownership of specific accounting areas (e.g. fixed assets, accruals, intercompany)

• Support the Senior Accountant during audits and month-end closings

• Cooperate with the Finance Manager on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring

• Participate in process improvements and help implement new accounting procedures​

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• University degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance

• Communicative level of English and fluency in Slovak

• Advanced Excel and good MS Office skills

• Responsible, detail-oriented, and proactive working style

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
