Cable Engineer

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:

• Demonstrate an autonomous and proactive attitude in leading technical cable improvements, initiatives, analyses, and cost-saving activities — responsible for setting targets and achieving milestones.
• Contribute internally with global product engineering teams to define cable designs, manufacturing specifications, and create both project-specific and generic drawings.
• Manage external technical activities with supplier teams, including the identification and validation of new suppliers.
• Support customer-oriented project teams in cable-related topics.
• Maintain a comprehensive technical overview of cable topics across all products.
• Lead system development tasks, including design input, integration, and formal testing of customer programs from the start-up phase to final release.
  
• Ensure that the component design of Occupant Detection System products meets all performance, quality, and manufacturing requirements.
• Create and negotiate specifications, product briefs, and technical documentation.
• Develop and manage specific program engineering tools such as DFMEA, Test Validation Plans, and Technical Risk Assessments.
• Perform, evaluate, and report on component-level testing.
• Conduct detailed assessments of OEM specifications and international standards.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive or cable engineering preferred
• Strong asset: experience and knowledge in cable engineering and production
• Ability to read and interpret norms, specifications, technical drawings, and process-related technical data
• Capable of working autonomously with a proactive attitude and effective communication skills
• Willingness to travel
