Plant Logistics Manager - Automotive (Green Field Project)

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Logistics Manager to join our New Plant Leadership Team in Plavecky Stvrtok (near Bratislava region). Our plant is a green field JIT Complete Seat Assembly facility.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will have full responsibility of managing the logistics & materials function, coordinating the efforts of production control, transportation and delivery performance to premium European OEM customer groups.

Job description, responsibilities and duties:

- Managing the full operational cycle of logistics in the plant
- Building, supervising and leading team, develop internal talents
- Launching new projects in line with corporate standards with operational excellence
- Develop, maintain, and negotiate cost effective freight solutions
- Improve and develop supplier delivery performance
- Premium Freight Cost reduction activities
- Monitor and coordinate the parcel transport as well as ad hoc transportations and deliveries.

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
To be a success in this role you must have:

- Successfully completed University studies, preferably with a focus on logistics or Supply Chain or similar qualification
- 5 years experience working as a Logistics or Supply Chain Manager in a Production Environment (preferably JIT / JIS)
- Experience with new projects implementation or Green field
- Ability to work in a fast-pace environment
- Strong organization skills with attention to details
- Excellent team and communication skills
- Fluent language skills in English and Slovak is imperative, German is advantage
