The minimum salary is 1500 EUR/month. The basic salary can be higher depending on the skills and previous experience of the candidate.

O pozícii

Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti:
• Support coordination of transportation activities, including assisting with tracking of shipments from request to delivery
• Learn to manage and process transport orders using SAP Transport Management module, Cargo Cockpit & other logistic software under supervision to ensure data accuracy and timeliness
• Input ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival/Re-bookings) and arrival alerts into the system and help communicate waiting times and delays to internal customers (e.g. customer service, account managers, other entities)
• Assist with recording "Freight COSTs" for transportation on regular basis to SAP ERP TMS
• Support cancellations of "planned loadings" and other tasks in Transportation system and help communicate with stakeholders
• Provide customer service and other teams with POD (Proof of Delivery), CMR (Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods), Invoice, B/L (Bill of Lading) documents and learn to assist with Customs Clearance procedures
• Help resolve transportation issues between customer service, carrier and other business units under guidance
• Support Truck whereabouts monitoring in daily operation with Logistic provider/Transport unit and Customer service
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and transportation costs with supervision
• Learn correct and timely freight payment processes and assist with associated extra cost management (e.g. help control invoices which do not match system-based freight and extra costs, invoice accruals)
• Assist in transport & warehouse cost verification processes
• Participate in projects within logistics operations and related entities to improve processes (e.g. Covestro SAP S/4 HANA transition from old system)

- Externally: Carriers/Forwarders/Hauliers and other 3PLs in Germany
- Internally: Transport Management Teams in DE, Planning functions in DE, Sales functions in DE, Local Management in Bratislava, Supply Chain Management team in DE, Center of Excellence Team DE, Customer Service in DE

Požiadavky na zamestnanca:
• University, bachelor’s degree or high school diploma preferably in a field of logistics, supply chain, business administration or general middle acquired education
- Min. 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, customer service, 3PL (3rd Party Logistics) or other industry
• Understanding of transportation management principles, practices with ability to improve logistic processes
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel), SAP TM & Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is advantage
• Good English skills, both written and spoken is a MUST
• German language skills highly welcomed!
• Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Eagerness & passion to learn and grow within the transportation/logistics industry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks/priorities
